Colour
The consistent use of colour is a critical factor in building the Tourism Ireland brand worldwide. Colours evoke a response that reaches beyond culture and language.
Our brand consists of three primary colours – Purple, Light Green and Dark Green. Because of the variety of cultures present on the island, Purple has been chosen to be the most prominent of the three. It is both modern and rich. Greens are used to compliment the purple, and should never dominate. White is important as it creates a sense of freedom and simplicity and can be used to enhance both solid colours, photography and typography.
We have also developed a range of secondary colours – these colours have been chosen to compliment and enhance our primary colour palette. All communications material should maintain a dominance toward the Primary colours.
The colours shown here are not intended to match the Pantone colour standards and should only be used as a reference. Always refer to the Pantone Colour Simulator for accurate colour matching.
